Terms of Use

BeyondMed connects international medical graduates with mentors and provides planning tools (such as roadmaps and session booking). We do not promise Match outcomes, exam scores, visas, or residency placements. Mentors share experience; you remain responsible for your applications and decisions. BeyondMed is not a medical school, ECFMG, NRMP, or immigration service.

You must be at least 16 years old (18 where required by local law) and able to form a binding contract. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login secure.

• Mentees may create roadmaps, browse approved mentors, and book sessions.
• Mentors may publish profiles subject to approval, set rates, and manage availability.
• Admins operate approvals, matching, and platform integrity.

You may not impersonate others, share accounts, or attempt to access another user’s data.

You agree not to:

• Harass mentors, mentees, or staff
• Upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content
• Scrape, probe, or attack the service (including credential stuffing or rate-limit evasion)
• Misrepresent credentials, Match results, or clinical qualifications
• Use the platform for spam or unauthorized commercial solicitation

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Advice from mentors is educational and experiential, not legal, immigration, or clinical advice for a specific patient. Always verify requirements with official bodies (ECFMG, NRMP, state boards, visa authorities).

Mentors set session rates displayed on the platform. In the current version, payment records may be stub / pending entries pending a live payment gateway. When live payments are enabled, charges, refunds, and taxes will be described at checkout and may update these Terms. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

BeyondMed branding, site design, and product software are owned by BeyondMed or its licensors. You retain rights to content you submit (profile text, notes), and grant us a limited license to host and display it to operate the service.

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. You can request deletion via the product or privacy@beyondmed.in.

The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that mentoring will achieve any particular exam or Match result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeyondMed and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on mentoring content. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to BeyondMed for the service in the three months before the claim (or INR 5,000 if you paid nothing), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using BeyondMed and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for security, abuse, or legal reasons. Provisions that should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, IP) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms as features change. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
